Crab Orchard Museum & Pioneer Park has a variety of wedding ceremony and reception packages to fit every bride’s budget and need.  

To obtain a wedding application or for more information, please contact Cindy Ringstaff, Visitor Services Coordinator, at 276-988-6755 or cringstaff@craborchardmuseum.com.  This application is for all wedding events, including rehearsal dinners and receptions.  No date is reserved until the application has been approved by museum staff and deposit received.  All dates are subject to availability and scheduled around museum events.

 

Please Note: For the protection of the artifacts, building grounds, and visitors, the museum’s policy restricts the relocation of exhibits and artifacts. 
No artifacts, such as horse-drawn equipment, will be removed from the Red Barn.

 
 

Package A: Classic

Classic Wedding: $1,500 (150 guests maximum)

 
Red Barn with restroom, water, electrical, heat/AC, 10 Tables and 85 chairs
Picnic Shelter with casual covered seating for 80
Cabin Porches and Museum Grounds with additional 25 folding chairs
Museum Center Lobby, conference room, kitchen, and restrooms
Day before Set-Up*, and  Day after Event Clean-Up*
Rented full size tents**, dance floors, and dance bands with P.A.s allowed
Dance floors must be removed the day of the event
*Set-up the day before does not include functions such as Rehearsal Dinners
** Tent set up the day before and removal of tent or tents up to 2 days after the event, unless another event is scheduled for the following days. 
 

Package B: Essential

Essential Wedding: $1,000 (150 guests maximum)

 
Red Barn with restroom, water, electrical, heat/AC, 10 Tables and 85 chairs
Picnic Shelter with casual covered seating for 80
Cabin Porches and Museum Grounds
Day before Set-Up*, and  Day after Event Clean-Up*
Small Tents** (max 30'X30'), dance floors, and dance bands allowed
Dance floors must be removed the day of the event
*Set-up the day before does not include functions such as Rehearsal Dinners. 
** All tents must be removed from the premises the day after the event. 
 
 

Package C: Intimate

Intimate Wedding: $500 (50 guests maximum) 

 

One cabin porch or designated location on museum grounds

Red Barn with restroom, water, electrical, heat/AC, 8 Tables and 50 chairs

Same Day Set-Up, Event, and Clean-Up within 8 hours maximum

Tents*, P.A. system, and acoustic music allowed

* All tents must be removed from the premises on the same day as the event.
